Directions for Use

Samrat’s Epoxy Resin 10% is a clear, high viscosity, thixotropic formulation that is recommended to repair severe surface deformities especially large cracks, that diminish the workability and aesthetics of a stone. Epoxy Resin 10% serves a singular purpose: to repair and fill surface deformities, but if required it can also be used as a surface coating.

For most stones:

Grind the stone using desired set of abrasives
Thoroughly mix 10 parts in weight of Epoxy Resin 10% Part A with 1 part of Epoxy Resin 10% Part B
Fill large cracks and other surface deformities with the resin mixture
Allow at least 24 hours for the coating to cure completely
Polish the stone to reveal a smooth surface with all deformities repaired

For a particularly damaged stone:

Thoroughly mix 10 parts in weight of Epoxy Resin 10% Part A with 1 part of Epoxy Resin 10% Part B
Fill large cracks and other surface deformities with the resin mixture
Allow at least 24 hours for the coating to cure completely
Grind the stone to reveal a smooth surface with most of the surface deformities filled and repaired
Coat the grinded surface again where needed with the resin mixture
Allow at least 24 hours for the coating to cure completely
Polish the stone to reveal a smooth surface with all deformities repaired
